The JCB AJ48D articulated boom lift is a solid choice for anyone needing reach without sacrificing stability. I used this lift during a recent job to take down some high branches in my backyard—definitely a step up from my old ladder. The diesel engine provides good power, and even with its weight, it feels surprisingly nimble once you get the hang of steering it. I appreciate the extended reach, which meant I could tackle those tall trees without a hitch. The few times I felt the terrain was a bit uneven, the safety features kicked in, making me feel secure while I worked. Overall, it’s been a reliable machine that gets the job done efficiently.
