The JLG 8042-D telehandler is a solid machine that really delivers when you need to lift and move heavy loads on the job site. I remember using this model during a construction project last summer, and it handled everything from pallets of bricks to steel beams without breaking a sweat. The diesel engine provides plenty of power, making those uphill climbs a breeze, and its long reach came in handy when placing materials high up on scaffolding. While it’s not the smallest telehandler out there, its stability and ease of operation definitely make up for it. Overall, it’s a reliable workhorse that I’d gladly use again.
