Equipment Description
This heavy-duty telehandler (telescopic handler) combines massive lifting power with an impressive reach, making it a staple for high-capacity construction and industrial jobsites. Key Features & Specifications Lifting Performance: Engineered with a maximum weight capacity of 12,000 lbs and an expansive 55-foot maximum lift height, allowing it to handle heavy structural loads and lift materials safely over multi-story structures. Powertrain & Maneuverability: Powered by a robust 130 HP Cummins Turbo Diesel Engine, paired with a 4-wheel drive (4WD) system to navigate rugged, unfinished terrain. It features crab-steering for exceptional tight-quarter maneuverability. Stability Systems: Equipped with front outriggers/stabilizers to anchor the machine when lifting at maximum capacity or height, alongside a frame leveling system to keep the chassis level when working on uneven slopes. Tires: Fitted with durable foam-filled tires, which eliminate the risk of jobsite flats while adding essential counterweight for enhanced machine stability. Hydraulics & Attachments: Features auxiliary hydraulics to power hydraulic attachments. The integrated Quick Tach system allows operators to swap attachments rapidly. It comes configured with a standard quick-coupler (QC) carriage and forks, as well as a dedicated lift hook for suspended loads. Aesthetics: Finished with professional, fresh paint and updated safety/branding decals.

The JLG 1255 telehandler has been a solid addition to our job site. It’s surprisingly nimble for its size, and I remember a day in the middle of a project where we had to lift some heavy materials to a second-floor deck. That’s where the reach of this machine really impressed me; it made what could have been a complicated series of lifts a lot easier. The controls are pretty intuitive, too, which helped when my buddy, who’s not usually behind the wheel of heavy equipment, stepped in to give it a try. Overall, it’s reliable for both lifting and maneuvering, which is just what we needed. Definitely happy with the performance so far.
