The 60% Wear Rule (Top of the Numbers): Press-on cushion tires are completely worn out when they drop past 60% of their original rubber volume. Appliance operators can quickly check this boundary right on the tire sidewall: when the outer rubber line wears down until it touches the top of the size dimensions stamped directly into the iron band casing, the tire is done.
