Telehandler

Telehandlers look and function like forklifts, but have a telescopic boom that can extend forwards and upwards for different attachments, such as a bucket, pallet forks, muck grab or lift table. Widely used in construction, agriculture and industry for loads from 3,000 - 15,000lbs, Telehandlers can often eliminate the need of a crane to transport palletized cargo from a trailer, for example, to a rooftop or other high place.

This unit comes equipped with a load chart to ensure that the unit will not become unstable as the weight of a load travels away from the front wheels. Most telehandlers are also equipped with computer sensors that will alert the operator if the machine is in danger of becoming unstable. Some machines are also equipped with front outriggers and can be called mobile cranes, which extend the lifting capability of the equipment while stationary.
